Developing those who lead

Developing those who lead
Those who lead tend to rise up the ranks due to their performance and related success. The irony is as you perform and rise, so the pressure increases, and under pressure people stress and can regress into unhelpful behaviours e.g. aggression.
What you want is those who lead to keep performing but also under the increasing pressure (being brought on too by the rapidly changing VUCA world). Keeping calm and on task helps them and ultimately their people to perform.
Those who lead come on this session and in the end:
> Know what performance is, how pressure is linked to that, and how to manage both
> Know what causes pressure, and the responses and what happens to people when it happens
> Know what strategies, approaches and techniques can be used to manage performance and especially under intense pressure
> Be able to move to a more calm, focused and controlled state when under intense pressure
By being able to perform under pressure, there are benefits:
> They are engaged and motivated as are being successful under very challenging conditions
> Under intense pressure, with the big risks and wins at stake, that can still perform and be successful
> Able to respond well in a rapidly changing VUCA world
> Successful people are happy people … great for team spirit and organisation culture
This training and topic can be tailored to your unique needs and delivered to a group of your very own people (in-company).
