Developing those who lead

Developing those who lead
Those who lead are an integral part of an organisation’s performance management process. Seen as ‘on-top’ of one’s daily work and process-focused, performance management is not always seen to be achieving what it wants to.
Those who lead are in a prime position i.e. they are at the moments of truth i.e. having the regular and authentic conversations with their people and discussing how they can support and get the best out of them in their performance and development. This is where a real difference can be made!
Those who lead come on this session and in the end:
> Know a structure, timing and related content to conducting great performance and development conversations
> Know how to set goals right and align a person with their job, aspiration and strengths
> Know how to and practice building rapport, coaching, giving recognition and feedback, and being bold during tough performance conversations
By conducting great performance conversations, there are benefits:
> People feel connected and are engaged, motivated and committed; the office becomes a great place to work
> People are energised as they reach both their performance and development goals
> As people grow, so does their organisation’s capability to respond to the changing VUCA world. Great for them, their organisations and those who lead them!
